Internal Medicine 2008 Abstract Presenters

We are honored to have two Chapter Members represent our Chapter for the Associate and Medical Student Abstract Competition to be held during Internal Medicine.

  • Eli Penn, MD, from the Medical University of South Carolina was selected in the Clinical Vignette Category for the Poster Spontaneous Renal Artery Thrombosis
  • R. Brad Sapp, MD, from the Medical University of South Carolina was selected in the Clinical Vignette Category for the Poster Infliximab In The Treatment Of Lymphocytic Colitis

National Key Contact Awards

Kudos to John G. Black, MD, FACP of West Columbia, and Dawn E. Clancy, MD, FACP of Johns Island! Both were recognized as one of ACP's "Top Ten Key Contacts" during Leadership Day 2008 in Washington, DC.
