Vision Statement

Having served on the Governor's Council under three Governors, I've had the opportunity to learn from some of the best leaders around, and my vision is to continue their strong leadership. I envision our chapter becoming more active in educating and recruiting of our medical students and residents into primary care internal medicine. Also, continuing its history of advocacy for reimbursement reform so as to make our profession more attractive to the best and brightest medical students and residents. I intend to go after those internists in the state who are not ACP members to help grow our membership in record-breaking numbers. And to help them become more active and share their knowledge and experience in order to make this organization a strong voice for internal medicine. I would like to promote education and research through our scientific sessions, and utilizing the medical leaders to help keep us informed and up to date so that we can provide the best care to our patients.
