2013 Southeastern Region Abstract and Jeopardy Competition

After a terrific 2012 event, we are very excited to announce the dates of our 2013 festivities. This year we will be holding the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Annual Abstract and Medical Jeopardy Competition at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 8 am to 1:00 pm.

Einstein Medical Center is easily reachable by public transportation (Broad Street subway line, Olney terminal). Parking is provided on site.

The day will include Abstract poster presentations, Medical Jeopardy (aka Doctor’s Dilemma) for residents only, a healthy breakfast and awards ceremony.

First-place winning entries will be placed on the PA Chapter’s Web site
Opportunity to win regional and national recognition
Stipend for trip to ACP Internal Medicine 2014 in Florida for our three first-place posters

Abstract submissions will be accepted throughout the month from Monday, July 1 to Friday, August 2.

There are three categories for abstract submission: Research, Quality Improvement Projects, and Case Reports. We strongly encourage you to submit in the categories of Quality Improvement and Research as these as typically under-represented at the conference. Please use the electronic submission form to submit your abstract.

All lead abstract authors and jeopardy participants must be resident and medical student members of the ACP Pennsylvania Chapter Southeastern Region, and your ACP membership number is required for the electronic submission. Student membership is FREE.
