Vision Statement
The national ACP remains a prominent voice in health care reform, funding, education and policy development. In conjunction with the ABIM, collaborative efforts are underway to ensure that the path to recertification provides a seal of quality without undue burden on process. The ACP is involved in educational redesign in conjunction with the AMA, APDIM and other organizations. If given the privilege to serve as your Governor, I envision the statewide leadership working together to:
- ensure that the economics of the practice of medicine enable our members to deliver high quality healthcare to patients
- remain a proactive force in the health and public policy arena
- strengthen relationships with state medical societies
- expand collaborations with neighboring ACP chapters
- engage in discussions with the NJ Council of Teaching hospitals to obtain data and subsequently determine GME needs and it’s impact on physician supply and demand in NJ
