Vision Statement
Dear Colleague – I have been a member of the ACP since my residency and became a Fellow in 1993 well after my rheumatology fellowship finished and I was a practicing rheumatologist. While I was initially drawn to the College by its academic credentials in the form of the Annals, I have matured to appreciate its advocacy for Internal Medicine, Generalists and the future of Medicine. The discussion of access of all, rationale rationing, payment programs and the Advanced Medical Home is an ongoing and evolving discussion we must all be engaged in if we are to succeed as a country.
I would like New Hampshire to be part of this important discussion. I will represent our group of internists - generalists, specialists and hospitalists at the National Level. I want participation by urban, rural, young, old, academic and community internists in our state ACP chapter.
