We are honored to have two chapter Members represent our chapter for the Associate and Medical Student Abstract Competition to be held during Internal Medicine.

Laureate Awards
Congratulations to Dr. Don McIntyre of Rugby and Dr. Nick Neumann of Bismarck. Both men are icons in internal medicine practice and teaching in North Dakota, and both have contributed to our State's culture in many ways - and they continue to do so. The Laureate Award honors those Fellows or Masters of the College who have demonstrated by their example and conduct an abiding commitment to excellence in medical care, education, or research, and in service to their community, their Chapter, and the American College of Physicians.

Poster Competition
The poster competition at this year's annual chapter meeting brought more than a dozen entries. The chapter awarded $1000 in prizes to the winners, Drs. Mohan Vupadyayula, Prabhu Udayakumar, and Mirza Baig. Our judges admitted.

New Member of Advisory Council
Welcome to Dan Starr, MD, ACP Associate Member. Dr. Starr has been appointed by Dr. David Theige to serve as the IM resident member of the Council. Dr. Starr is a graduate of UNDSOM and a second-year resident in IM in the Fargo program.
