Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submit your abstract online.
Please note that the deadline for abstract submissions has been extended to March 30, 2009.
- Medical students from any medical school at any level of training are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations.
- Abstracts will be no longer than 400 words in length, and may represent either a clinical vignette or primary research. Please refer to the ACP website for specific guidance on the writing of an abstract.
- You must register for the meeting prior to submitting your abstract, and record your registration number on the abstract submission form.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically at http://www.lrc.usuhs.mil/StepstoSuccess2009/index.php?Page=AbstractEnter. Once you have submitted your abstract you will receive a confirming email documenting your submission. All submissions must be received by 12 midnight March 30, 2009.
An individual may be an author on more than one abstract, but can be presenting author on only one abstract. Each abstract should be registered only once, preferably by the presenting author. (Co-authors are strongly encouraged to register for and attend the Steps to Success meeting.) You should print and retain your registration form and the confirmation screen. On or about Monday March 30, 2009, you will receive an e-mail with the location assigned to your poster.
