From the Chapter
Happy New Year! We have some great events coming up in the Montana Chapter in 2012. From our Big Sky meeting next month to our Fall Meeting in Missoula in September, we hope to see many of you attend!
New Election Resource on Candidates' Positions on Healthcare
Last week, ACP launched a new web resource - http://www.acponline.org/advocacy/election_2012/ for ACP members and other interested persons on the views of the GOP presidential candidates and President Obama compared to ACP's policy positions. It also discussed physicians' responsibilities to advocate for their patients and includes resources for members to learn about how they can become more involved in the election. The materials will be continually updated throughout the election cycle (including removing candidates as they drop out of the race).
Updated State Health Policy Website
Check out the newly updated state health policy website for information on current health policy issues and how you can take action at the state level. The information will be updated regularly to bring you a timely and useful resource. So, please check regularly for the latest information at http://www.acponline.org/advocacy/state_policy.
