Member Accomplishments
New Master
Congratulations to Helen R. Turner (Jackson), who has been awarded a Master of the College. To be considered for Mastership, the candidate must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery of health care, or contributions to medical literature. She will be presented with this honor at the Convocation Ceremony during Internal Medicine 2013 in San Francisco.

ACP’s Leadership Enhancement and Development Program (LEAD) helps younger members and Fellows cultivate leadership skills to expand their career opportunities and benefit the community at large. A LEAD Certificate can be awarded to any member who has completed at least five out of seven of the leadership development activities within a three-year time frame.
