Governor Election Results

Dear Colleagues,

For those of you eligible to vote in our recent Chapter Governor Election, thank you for voting. I want to inform you of the results. As you know, we had two outstanding candidates, Eric J. Scher and Carl B. Lauter. I want to acknowledge and thank them both for their enthusiastic work on behalf of our Chapter over the years.

I am happy to announce that Carl B. Lauter was selected to be your next Governor. Our newly elected Governor-elect Designee will start his four year term as Governor in the Spring of 2010. As Governor, Dr. Lauter serves as the official representative of the College for the Michigan Chapter, providing a link between members at the local level and leadership at the national level. The Governor has a variety of responsibilities at both levels.
