2014 Steps to Success Abstract Submission Guidelines

Submit your abstract online

The deadline for submission of ALL abstracts is April 20, 2014.

  • Medical students from any medical school at any level of training are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations.
  • Abstracts will be no longer than 450 words in length, and may represent either a clinical vignette or clinical research. Please refer to the ACP website for specific guidance on the writing of an abstract.
  • You must register for the meeting prior to submitting your abstract, AND record your registration number on the abstract submission form.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through this website. Once you have submitted your abstract you will receive a confirming email documenting your submission. All submissions must be received by 12 midnight April 20, 2014. An individual may be an author on more than one abstract, but can be presenting author (lead author) on only one abstract. Each abstract should be registered only once, preferably by the presenting author. (Co-authors are strongly encouraged to register for and attend the Steps to Success meeting.) You should print and retain your registration form and the confirmation screen. On or about April 20, 2014, you will receive an e-mail with the location assigned to your poster.
