Chief Residents Association of Baltimore (CRAB) Profiles in Excellence Award

The Profiles in Excellence Award is given to a resident nominated from each program. The following guidelines are used in selecting candidates:

  • Selection will be made by the program's chief residents.
  • Residents considered for this award are those who have "gone the extra mile" and provided outstanding service to their medical community.

Examples of residents who might be considered for this award includes:

  • Residents who perform community service
  • Assists fellow residents in daily routines
  • Provides mentorship to fellow residents
  • Provides exceptional care to patients

There will be no "winner" selected but rather a way for programs to honor a resident who has played a major role at their program. Each resident will be presented with an award plaque.
