Vision Statement
ACP Japan chapter is the first and the only chapter outside of the USA. Members of Japan chapter have increased more than threefold since 2003 (312 to 989) by strong leadership of Governor Kurokawa. From now, we will make effort to stimulate Japanese young physicians to be more global and more practical doctor with research mind. Translations of “ACP Internist Weekly” and abstracts of “Annals of Internal Medicine” are posted on our web site. It is useful for residents to update EBM. For the next step, we will collaborate clinical research in ACP Japan, and hope to publish in “Annals of Internal Medicine”. I will hold the next 107th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine 2010 in Tokyo. I am planning to hold the new “practical life-long educational program” like an ACP program. It should attract medical students and residents to be internists, and stimulate general practitioners.
