Congratulations to our newest Masters!

Kudos to Asok C. Antony, MD, FACP and David W. Crabb, MD, FACP, who will be awarded Mastership of the College at the Convocation ceremony during ACP Internal Medicine 2013 in San Francisco. To be considered for Mastership, the candidate must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery of health care, or contributions to medical literature.

Alvan R. Feinstein Memorial Award

Congratulations to William M. Tierney, MD, MACP, who has been awarded the Alvan R. Feinstein Memorial Award. The award is to be given to an American physician who has made a major contribution to the science of patient care in activities that Dr. Feinstein has broadly defined as clinical epidemiology or clinimetrics, involving the direct study of patients’ clinical conditions.
