2009 Internal Medicine Abstract Presenters
We are honored to have six chapter members represent our chapter for the Associate and Medical Student Abstract Competition to be held during Internal Medicine
- Yasuhiro Norisue, MD was selected in the Associate Research category.
- Suttirak Chaiwongkarjohn, MD was selected in the Associate Clinical Vignette category.
- Margaret Ochner was selected in the Medical Student Research category.
- Anthony Paul Cardile, II DO was selected in the Associate Clinical Vignette.
- CPT John W. Downs, MC USA was selected in the Associate Clinical Vignette.
- Stephen G. Chun was selected in the Medical Student Research.
The Laureate Award honors those Fellows of the American College of Physicians in the Hawaii Chapter who have demonstrated by their example and conduct an abiding commitment to excellence in medical care, education or research, and service to the community and the American College of Physicians. This award is the most prestigious honor bestowed to a chapter member at the local level.
It is with distinct please that the Hawaii Chapter honors Daniel C. Davis, Jr., MD, FACP
with its 2008 Chapter Laureate Award. He is a long-standing and loyal supporter of the College, has rendered distinguished service to the chapter and the community, and has upheld the high ideals and professional standards for which the American College of Physicians is known.
