2006 Evergreen Award Winner
The Connecticut Chapter received the 2006 Evergreen Award for the following program:
Legislator of the Year Award
The Connecticut Chapter created a Legislator of the Year Award to recognize legislators (at the state and federal level) who promoted health policy issues or specific health policy legislation which aligned with ACP policy. The legislator is invited to receive the award at the Chapter Meeting. This program has fostered productive relationships with legislators at both the state and federal level and allowed chapter members personal access to their legislators.

Representatives from 11 ACP Chapters accepted the Evergreen Awards at Annual Session. The awards honor chapter efforts that ranged from developing programs for students to increasing membership.
