2014 Internal Medicine Abstract Competition Winners

Special congratulations to: Brittany R Folks, MD from Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, who was a winner in the Resident/Fellow Clinical Vignette Poster category at the Internal Medicine 2014 Abstract Competition. Her poster title was "The Perfect Storm: A Case of Iatrogenic Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis."

Chapter Member Receive National Award

Congratulations to Lawrence Feinberg, MD, FACP, MACP who received the Ralph O. Claypoole Sr. Memorial Award for Devotion of a Career in Internal Medicine to the Care of Patients. National awards will be presented presented during Convocation at Internal Medicine 2014 in Orlando.

New Master

Congratulations to Lawrence Feinberg (Aurora) who has been awarded a Master of the College. To be considered for Mastership, the candidate must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery of health care, or contributions to medical literature. He will be presented with this honor at the Convocation Ceremony during Internal Medicine 2014 in Orlando.
