2005 Top Ten Key Contact Award

Congratulations to Dr. Susan Sprau! She was awarded the Top Ten Key Contact Award for 2005. The award was presented to her at the College's Leadership Day on May 18. We greatly appreciate Dr. Sprau's diligence in expressing her views to her U.S. Representatives and Senators about the Medicare prescription drug bill, Medicare fee schedule update, and other key issues of concern to internists and their patients throughout the past year.

The Key Contact Awards Program was implemented in 1995 as a way to recognize those individuals who have made exceptional efforts in response to legislative requests. Winners are chosen on the basis of the number and quality of contacts with their legislators during the year. If you would like to be a Key Contact visit the ACP Key Contact page.
