Physicians on the Move



The Arizona Chapter of the American College of Physicians celebrates the excellence in internal medicine reflected in the 133 poster abstracts and the eight oral clinical vignette abstracts from the 2012 ACP Arizona Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting with its third annual publication of ¡Salud!. To cite an abstract in this publication, please note the following format: Author Last Name, Author First Name, (2012) Title of Abstract, ¡Salud!, 3:1, Abstract Number.

New Master

Congratulations to Dr. Ricahrd W. Carlson of Phoenix who has been selected to become Master of the College (MACP) in April 2013. To be considered for Mastership, the candidate must have made a notable contribution to medicine. This includes but is not limited to teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery health care, or contributions to medical literature.
