Associate and Medical Student Presenters at Internal Medicine 2010
We are honored to have six Associate members and two Medical Student members represent our Chapter at Internal Medicine 2010 in Toronto.
- Johnathan J Frunzi, MD from the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Mi Agua Esta Cebrar.
- Kristina J Hernandez, DO from the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: The Borne Deception: Severe Babesiosisr.
- Michelle Min Kyong Kim, DO from the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Achoo, Please Excuse My Esophagus!
- Cristian Madar, MD from the Tripler Army Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Pheochromocytoma Associated with Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy and Presenting as a ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction.
- Abdul W Nuristani, MD from the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Clinical Vignette - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Severe Cholestatic Jaundice Induced by Thyrotoxicosis.
- J Reggie Thomas, DO from the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center Program was selected as a 2010 Associates Basic Research - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Colonoscopy Bowel Prep: Two-day Vs One-day Regimen In Patients At Risk For Slow Bowel Transit.
- Alan Beneze from the University of Arizona was selected as a 2010 Student Basic Research - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Treatment After Cardiac Arrest and Resuscitation Downregulates Genes Implicated in the Production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).
- Hardeep Phull from the Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland Program was selected as a 2010 Student Basic Research - Poster Finalist for a poster titled: Rapid Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing Using An Electrochemical Biosensor.
